Not up to speed with the other’s mischief, again, he’ll practically choke before harshly swallowing the dumpling that was forced on him. Coughing a little he tried to regain himself. Fine two can play that game.
“Oh Bolin…” imitating a call he’ll suddenly pounce the other. With the element of surprise on his side he manages to wrestle his brother into a head-lock, ruffling Bolin’s hair as he ensnares him in his hold.
“Hm..? Well I just got done working.. it’s whatever you want to do with the day I guess.” He continued the conversation as if nothing abnormal was occurring whilst holding the youth hostage.
Bolin shrieks a bit, struggling against Mako. OMmgg not cool big bro not cool!! Bolin continues to struggle for a bit, and deciding that it was too much work, just stays put, sighing. ”So whatever I want to do??” He looks up at Mako and wiggles his eyebrows a bit, an excited grin crossing his face.
“Aannnyything???”
Continuing to drag Bolin along like nothing. Which in all honesty? It was with the strength she had. But, still. She wasn’t doing it to show off. She was doing it to escape! Naga had been her partner in crime for so long, the polar bear-dog even knew to follow her. By time they got closer to the water and the islands edge, she eventually came to a stop. Exhaling a deep breath. “Phew, that was close!” Glancing to Naga who seemed to be wagging her tail, she grinned. “You so owe me.”
Directing her attention towards Bolin now she wanted to try and create another excuse. However, there wasn’t any reason to. Not with him. “Yeah, Naga did that all right.” Placing both hands on her lower back, arching her body forward, she heard the muscles cracking. Resulting in relief as it flooded her senses for a moment. That felt amazing! “She’s used of wider entrances at the Southern Water Tribute.” Blinking, pupils trailed over to Pabu as he wrapped himself around her neck. Causing her lips to stretch wider in that grin. Scratching the animal gently behind his ear. “She’s also used of following me inside sometimes. I think she gets lonely whenever I’m in and she’s out.”
Gesturing Naga over with her chin, she hopped up. “I’m heading into Republic City for a few. Tenzin isn’t going to be happy and I’d rather deal with my master when he isn’t, well, ready to explode?” She tried to explain it, wondering if it made any sense at all.
Bolin could only continue to chuckle a bit at what Korra go the herself into. Espeically with Naga around. So that is what happened. He nods a bit, crossing his arms. ”Maannn that’s understandable. I mean…some habits are hard to break no matter what…” He tries to look like he knows what he was talking about but to no success. Pabu purrs contently under the care of Korra, his tail wrapping around her neck a bit more.
“So that means we’re going back to Republic City?? Well I guess I can dig that~” He shrugs shoulders and looks up at the avatar. Was he allowed to ride on Naga’s back this time?? Or did he have to be carried. That was NOT a pleasant experience…
Bolin makes some sort of a squeaking sound, the door opening all the way as he dove for the dumplings. He was a growing boy after all. ”Mako don’t you dare eat all those dumplings!!” He whines a little bit, grabbing the back from his older brother’s hand. Aha! I win! His stomach may have let out a small growl of its own and then finally, Bolin had the delicious taste of his favorite dumpling in his mouth! He moans ever so slightly at the flavor and his smile looks very content.
“Aaahh Mako thank you thank you so muuuch~ I looooooove you!!” He turns to give his brother a hug. Argument forgotten oops
A way to a man’s heart was through his stomach and with his younger brother that was most certainly the case. And lucky for Mako, the weakness for food that Bolin had was his one-way ticket to forgiveness. When the bag was snatched from his hand the elder laughed, “Hey! We were supposed to share ya know.” Despite his words he let Bo have at it. As long as he was content…
The sudden display of affection caught the pro-bender off guard and he stumbled slightly as his brother came flying at him. He barely caught himself, smacking into the wall and holding onto the other. “Watch it you…” Although the look upon the other’s face made him halt his scolding and he ended up chuckling instead. “You’re hopeless.. don’t go making a mess of yourself now.” In his haste to consume the yummy treats, the contents of the filled dumpling smudged the edges of the earth-bender’s lips. Using the edge of his sleeve, the captain scrubs at the mess.
Bolin just laughs a bit at Mako’s reaction and brings his face up to meet him—only to have it wiped off?? Omg Mako you didn’t..
“Maakkooo…” he mocks a whine that time, a smile betraying whatever he was trying to invoke in the fire bender. He releases his hold on his older brother, only to take out a dumpling and stuff it right in Mako’s mouth. “There now you won’t whine that I didn’t share with you!” He snickers a bit and takes another dumpling in his mouth.
“So….what’s the plan for today??” Bolin looks to the older sibling, licking his fingers clean of whatever the dumplings might have left on them
Ineffectively able to feel anything within the rubble, she approached. Cautiously. Very, very cautiously. “Hm…” Kneeling as she used her fingers to sift through the debris one fact was made clear. This simply wasn’t wood that her water bending could use.. and yes. Waterbenders could easily use the water inside other plants, trees and living beings, to their advantage. After all, where else would Bloodbending come from? But, that was entirely besides the point. This appeared to be entirely different compared to the materials used home. “I’m s—”
Unable to complete the statement Bolin made his entrance.
She knew it was Bolin by the simple fact of his voice. It was so cheery and upbeat. Just hearing it made her smile, that’s how contagious his own could be. “H-hey!” Standing up, straightening her posture, the hand lifted. Going behind her neck as she rubbed at it. Expression going sheepish as she laughed nervously. “What brings you to the island?!” Scooting in front of the mess, as if trying to hide it, she wanted to distract the youngest brother. Wanted to casually slip away. Because it was obvious this destruction would be related to her.
Unless Tenzin’s children were crazier than she knew.
“Avatar Korra!”
Freezing, she felt her muscles go tense. Noticing the sentries approaching in a hurry as red flags alerted in her mind. That’s right.. this little, itsy bitsy, teeny weeny mishap, actually created a tad bit of commotion. “Sorry! But, I have to go!” Immediately grabbing Bolin’s shirt collar, she tried her best not to seem guilty of anything, anything at all— and was failing. “Late for practice at the arena~” Giving an casual whistle, she immediately started walking at her fast, ‘I-Swear-I-Didn’t-Do-It’ pace. All while dragging the Earthbender with her.
Bolin smiled at her. Ahh look at her look all nervous how cute!! He giggles a bit, about to listen to her reply when all of a sudden the—sadly stronger of the two—- started to drag him away, yelling something to the sentries about practice and such?? He blinks a couple of times, waving bye to the guard like people and turns his attention to Korra.
“Sooo…it was your animal that caused that?” He raises a brow in amusement, a smirk finding his way to his lips. Pabu found his way to Korra now, wrapping his long body around her neck. The fire ferret let out a squeak and decided to take a nap right there. Quality pets we all have.
Fire Ferrets Go!: bolin-inthedeep;
The eldest brother ascends to loft that was the brothers apartment, a bag of treats carefully cradled in his arms. Bolin and him had gotten into a slight argument the morning… and when he said argument it was more like the fire-bender losing his temper over his brother’s…
He couldn’t help but chuckle as the other’s enticed expression peered through the crack in the door. Honey warm eyes met bright emeralds as his lips lifted in a small smile, nodding to affirm. “Of course. They’re your absolute favorite ones.” Teasing he steps back and retrieves a dumpling from the bag, shoveling it in mouth. Chewing and swallowing quickly he begins a slow retreat, changing his tactics to force the other out. “If you don’t hurry up I’ll eat them all!”
Bolin makes some sort of a squeaking sound, the door opening all the way as he dove for the dumplings.
